SUMMER PROGRAM
We offer four-week, half-day sessions in the summer focused on literacy remediation and language arts enrichment. Enrollment is available for 3rd - 7th graders who are either current Stellar students or for interested families on a first-come-first-served basis. Our summer program is a great way for students to connect with one another and continue practicing the language skills they’ve learned throughout the school year. Alternatively, it's a wonderful opportunity for new students to experience the Stellar difference and see if this is the right fit for you.

TAILORED TO LEARNING NEEDS
We provide an immersive, multi-sensory approach to teaching language arts. Students with observed difficulties in one or more areas of penmanship, letter-sound-symbol association for reading or spelling, written expression, decoding, reading fluency, or reading comprehension are candidates for this program. Our faculty uses the rigorous and successful Slingerland® method, which is a classroom adaptation of the Orton-Gillingham Approach for Language Arts Instruction. This structured learning approach is well-suited to the learning needs of children with Dyslexia. For more information see the International Dyslexic Association’s website.
